tl;dr: I wanted to mess with aging up character models one more time and chose Star vs the Forces of Evil for the exercise. I didn't like the show after season 1 but I do like the characters and their goofy mannerisms. I may use these models in future works, but am only posting now as preliminary models like I did months before patrons voted for me to start Bawdy Falls.

Hey guys. I mentioned last weekend when I uploaded the Teen Titans references that I was planning to do another show and try to upload it with it, buuut I ran out of time and that didn't happen so I did it this weekend. I've been on a kick of trying to work on my character stylizing because I haven't been 100% satisfied with that aspect of my Patreon stuff at this point. I want to aim for characters looking more 18-20 than looking late 20s-30 by adding a few/several years to the original models, so that's what I aimed for here (34-36 in Marco's case). I feel working on the content will be more enjoyable to me if I can enjoy the final product more, so it's something I've been planning to work on.

This time I chose characters from the Disney series Star vs the Forces of Evil. Personally I've mostly disliked the show after season 1, and I've never shown any hesitation in mentioning this fact, so this may seem like an odd selection to some. The thing is that while I'm not a big fan of the show's writing once it started to abandon the plot and become a shipfest, I find that the random nature of the show with the goofy characters could make it fun to work with. Also, the fact that the characters do look somewhat pleasing, despite the goofy style that can look pretty bad from some angles, made them a good choice for this exercise.

As for the individual models, since I planned these models to look a few/several years after the show, like the Teen Titans models I obviously took some liberties. Marco I consider to do some sword training often, since his 16 years of experience in the Hekapoo timeline would likely start getting rusty as years passed by. There is also the fact that Marco wants to be a knight and became Star's squire, so I imagine he participates in some events/exercises related to that by this point. For these reasons I imagined a little bit of armor, gloves similar to his future form, and some leather boots/padded armor under his normal hoodie. Note that I would not draw the extra sword/shoulder pad/bracer all the time, but rather as an option any time it would be relevant to any short plot (that's assuming I use these models in the future for any comics).

For Star I of course just put her in a fancy skirt that maintained some vital elements of her canon outfits. I imagine her outfits would get a bit fancier as she has been staying in Mewni and is a princess and all, so pressure to do so would increase with early adulthood. Tom I felt the same way since he was also a prince. Tom also seemed to like dressing up any chance he got despite his otherwise grunge look so I felt he'd have no issue wearing more formal clothes regularly. Then I added Jackie and Janna simply because they were appealing side characters that fit with what I was doing, and all I did with them was slightly lewd their outfits because if I use these models they'd be used for porn and because of head canon reasons.

In the end of course there's no telling if or when I'd ever use these as I still have a bit to finish before I could, and I'd want patron input in making new decisions, but I like putting things like these on the table for when new decisions have to be made.

I might. It's definitely up there as one of my considerations, hence why I did this sheet, but I do like to get patron feedback before starting something new so that will be a factor.

Jacky was always a good looking character, which is not surprising since she was obviously made as sex appeal for Marco to fumble around.

Give a couple of them wider shoulders or hips to add a little variety.

Absolutely love their age up designs! I especially love Marco design sense I think if it's in the most. Giving him a way to carry around El Choppo and showing how much he's grown as a character. Personally if you ever did a comic involving all of them, (which I'm pretty sure it will happen given enough support by everyone.) I honestly think Star and Marco should start dating in. Because Tom already knows about both the kiss and the fact that Star still has feelings for Marco, regardless of what she says. So in my personal opinion for the idea comic, it need to have at least have two different things going on that will eventually lead up to each other. First being the relationship between Star and Marco since they're obvious status as both knight and queen and how that affects their own feelings / relationships, The other part of the plots can be about Tom still trying to fill the hole that Star left in his heart, which is where Jackie and Janna come in to help out. you can even have some friendly competition between the two of them for Tom and seeing which one would be the better girlfriend for him. But this is mainly just my suggestion and I honestly do hope that you will do a Star Vs comic later on.

Well Jackie has wider hips here, but it's a little harder to tell because she's the only girl not wearing a skirt of some kind. They could probably still be bumped up in any future use of the models though, but this was a first attempt so things like that have to be figured out. As for shoulders? Nah. That doesn't really turn out too well while trying to stick to the show's overall slender style for characters. Maybe if I was adding 10 or so year, but adding roughly 3 years wouldn't have that big of an impact in that department unless I'm trying to buff one of them up.

Thanks. Admittedly Marco was a bit of a problem for me at first because I had completely forgotten he became Star's squire. I didn't quite have the interest in the later seasons as I did in the first season so details like that escaped me. I drew him in just his typical attire, but when I remembered his later development I added some extra details I felt relevant to it. In terms of shipping and dating I won't say too much except I wouldn't focus on it heavily. I feel it would be much more entertaining to focus on how such concepts vary between the characters due to being from completely different worlds, or dimensions even, so I can't imagine the customs are all that similar in terms of how dating, sex and overall relationships work.

It honestly shocks me that you've never done any star vs.
