Chapter 377: Winning Chance

That elbow indeed hit Linne, but it caused no substantial harm.

Luo could utilize all six Nen categories with 100% precision. For example, this elbow attack was a 100% power Enhancer attack. However, Linne, not being an Enhancer, dissolved all the damage with her swift use of *Ryu*.

After landing from mid-air, she glared coldly at Luo from several meters away and said displeasedly, "What did I just say?"

"Uh..."

Luo looked at Linne's displeased expression and was at a loss for words. His reaction was normal, after all, they were not fighting enemies to the death.

Seeing Linne unharmed despite taking his elbow strike made him realize it was unnecessary to hold back.

"I understand now."

After a moment, Luo took a deep breath, and his Nen aura spread out.

He decided to do as Linne said, without hesitation or unnecessary worry.

The coldness in Linne's eyes faded slightly. The Nen gathered in her abdomen flowed throughout her body as she launched another close-range attack at Luo.

Luo still didn’t know what Linne's Nen ability was, only that she could erase Nen before it exploded. If her precision was high enough, it was undoubtedly troublesome.

Under the starry night sky, with the full moon high above, silver moonlight covered the vast desert. One figure kicked up a cloud of dust, rapidly approaching another figure.

Linne seemed very confident in close combat, or maybe her offensive techniques required close proximity to be effective.

Once she was close, she attacked Luo with both palms, combining offense and defense seamlessly, showing no fear of counterattacks while maintaining her assault.

Faced with Linne's close-range offensive, Luo had no intention of blocking. His figure suddenly vanished from the spot, retreating twenty meters using *Shun*.

In Linne's vision, Luo genuinely disappeared. She knew it was an application of the Emission category, releasing aura to move the body. With enough skill and Nen, one could move at speeds difficult for the naked eye to track.

This technique had a weakness: the user couldn’t change direction while moving, only moving straight. If the user's reaction wasn't fast enough, they could easily collide with a blade’s edge.

As her attack missed again, Linne prepared to launch another offensive when suddenly, Luo reappeared right before her eyes!

"Two consecutive movements…!"

Linne was startled, not expecting Luo to dodge her attack and then return immediately.

She understood the Emission technique well, hence didn't guard against it, as controlling the distance of such swift movements was tricky, like a car traveling at 200 km/h, a slight turn of the wheel could make the car drift far.

However, Luo returned precisely to the optimal position.

After returning, Luo swung his blade at Linne without hesitation. If it hit, the fight would be decided.

Despite Luo's unexpected move, Linne's extensive experience allowed her to react in time. She raised her hands and clapped them together, catching Luo’s blade with bare hands using almost monstrous combat instincts.

At that moment, Luo didn’t expect Linne to catch his blade this way, neutralizing both the Nen infused in the blade and the force behind the slash.

Though caught, Luo realized how Linne neutralized his Nen explosion.

"Not neutralization, but assimilation?"

While pondering, the Nen surrounding Luo's body expanded, forming a *Domain*!

The circle of Nen energy expanded over a meter outward, encompassing Linne within.

Since the Nen on the blade was neutralized, Luo stopped infusing much Nen into it, leaving only a little, while most of the Nen was used to sustain the Domain.

Linne's eyes glowed with Nen energy. She noticed the expanding circle of Nen from Luo's feet, frowned slightly, and tried to push Luo's blade aside to dodge. But Luo's strength was slightly superior, causing a stalemate.

At this moment, the Domain's effect kicked in!

Linne felt as if a mountain suddenly pressed on her shoulders, her body sank, and the surrounding sand formed a shallow pit under an invisible giant hand.

"Gravity?"

Linne felt a bit tense, realizing this Emission-like ability of Luo's was tricky. She also noticed its weakness: Luo’s defense was lowered while using the expanded Nen Domain.

Thinking of this, Linne, under the immense pressure, kicked towards Luo's body. Nen erupted from her foot, releasing a Nen bullet, hitting Luo.

Taking advantage of the moment, Linne released the grip on the blade, allowing the impact of the Nen bullet to push Luo away.

Luo's body slid back five or six meters on the sand before stopping.

Expanding the Domain to create pressure on Linne lowered his defense significantly. If the Nen bullet hit directly, it could cause severe injury.

Fortunately, Luo reacted quickly, using his left hand to block the Nen bullet in time, avoiding harm. However, the subsequent impact pushed him away, losing the advantage he had gained.

"Enhancer, Emission, Manipulation, Conjuration..."

Linne silently recited the names of four Nen categories, looking at Luo who had been forced back.

Each Nen ability has its unique system, and typically one can only achieve 100% precision in a single category. However, if the Nen user is willing, they can practice multiple categories for a balanced combination.

Linne was a Transmuter, but her skills in Enhancer and Emission were also not weak.

To defuse the crisis earlier, she used an Emission Nen bullet. Since she was a Transmuter, the bullet's power was not strong, which Luo blocked with a little Nen on his left hand.

After a few rounds, Linne vaguely felt that Luo could achieve 100% precision in four categories. This suspicion was unbelievable, and she dared not confirm it because it was so incredible.

Initially, she wanted to test Luo’s limits, but after the actual fight, she realized Luo’s combat skills were very strong, effectively using multiple Nen categories to gain the upper hand in their fight.

"Can’t help but admit I'm getting old..."

Linne's eyelids drooped slightly. As a senior, no matter how strong, one day would be surpassed by the younger generation.

It seemed Linne was being suppressed by Luo, but if this fight were a life-and-death battle, her rich combat experience and skilled Nen techniques could dominate Luo.

That was Linne's advantage. Her weakness was her stamina. If Luo could endure the initial tough period, Linne would lose her winning chance by mid-fight.

If Linne were in her prime, Luo might have no chance of winning. Unfortunately, there were no "ifs." Now, Linne was an elder with half a foot in the grave.

Because of Linne's own request, Luo did not hold back and launched a fierce attack, using multi-category Nen techniques to exert strong pressure on Linne.

Ten minutes later, with a crisp bone-cracking sound, the fight ended.

Linne’s waist… was sprained.
