Chapter 330: Meeting Arrangement

For this day, the Zoldyck family had long been prepared.

As an assassin family, having a baby naturally couldn't happen in a regular hospital. Therefore, the delivery room had been set up well in advance, equipped with all the necessary equipment, and was cleaned daily as the due date approached.

At the first sign of labor, Kikyo was taken into the delivery room by the ever-ready Tsubone.

Being an outsider, Luo quietly stepped out of the Zoldyck family's joyous circle and left the house, feeling the mountain breeze against his face.

Standing there, the sky seemed very low, and the wisps of white clouds, like light gauze, fluttered as if within reach.

"Killua is born, and Gon shouldn't be far behind."

Luo looked up at the white clouds, his thoughts drifting to Whale Island. If there was a chance, he could visit there.

"Beep beep."

Suddenly, the ringing of his phone interrupted Luo's thoughts.

He took out his phone, and the screen displayed only the word "Unknown." Without much thought, he pressed his thumb and answered the call.

"Luo?"

The moment the call connected, a strange voice entered Luo's ears.

The voice sounded young and very energetic.

"Yes, who are you?" Luo asked back. This was his private number, known to very few, yet he didn't know who was on the other end.

"I'm Ging Freecss. I called you to propose a deal." The voice directly stated his name and purpose.

Luo was taken aback and felt it was absurd.

He and Ging had no connection. How did Ging get his number, and why did he want to make a deal with him?

For a moment, Luo remained silent.

Seeing Luo not responding, Ging patiently waited for a reply.

After a while, Luo didn't continue the topic of the deal but asked, "How did you get my number?"

"I got it from Chairman Netero." Ging spoke frankly. There were many ways to get Luo's number, but he chose to ask Netero for it.

Luo rubbed his forehead, having many doubts in his mind but not intending to ask. He directly said, "I'm curious about the deal. Let's hear it."

"I want some information from you. In exchange, I'll give you something of equal value," Ging said.

"The Devil Island?" Luo raised his eyebrows. The only thing he could think of was Devil Island.

The other end of the line went silent for a few seconds before saying, "Yes."

"What do you want to know?"

Luo lightly pinched his chin, his eyes showing a thoughtful look. Logically, information about Devil Island was strictly confidential and had already been taken over by the state. How did Ging know about it?

"Let's discuss it in person, shall we?" Ging suggested.

Luo hesitated for a while and said, "Fine, where and when?"

"You decide," Ging said.

"Ten days later, at five in the afternoon, at the World Tree," Luo decided almost without hesitation.

"OK, see you in ten days."

Ging had no reaction when it came to the World Tree.

"Mm."

The call ended, and with a brief conversation, they set a meeting.

This agreement was made without further understanding of each other's positions, and the whole process seemed rather hasty.

From Ging's standpoint, this call was his first contact with Luo. Knowing that Luo had almost zero knowledge about him, he suggested meeting to discuss, which could be brushed off or ignored.

Thus, during the hasty arrangement, Ging mentioned Netero's name when Luo asked how he got the number. He specifically sought Netero before the call.

Even though there were many ways to get Luo's number, he chose to ask Netero, which had its reasons.

In his view, as long as he mentioned Netero, Luo would naturally confirm with Netero in their limited understanding of each other.

To reduce the vigilance based on the stranger identity, rather than revealing some information himself, letting the other party find a familiar person to inquire would be more effective.

Ultimately... there was another important reason: if Luo wanted to investigate him, ten days were far from enough, and he wouldn't find much.

Ging, with this small calculation, didn't expect that Luo actually knew him, nor did he expect that the information Luo had was richer than what could be found through channels.

Far in the east of the Yorbian Continent, there was an island named Greed Island, a newly launched game this year, and also the real map of this game.

This game was a super-realistic fantasy game jointly created by Ging and his companions. The map was Greed Island, constructed primarily with Nen abilities, and it was a game aimed at collecting cards.

On the island, standing a castle, the place where the game creators resided, was inaccessible to ordinary players.

In a large room in the castle, piled with a lot of living garbage, a man with hair like a bird's nest and a full beard was pointing at another young man with a white cloth wrapped around his head, yelling.

The young man with a cloth wrapped around his head was Ging, looking quite similar to Gon, appearing very young.

"Ging, please follow the rules. By the way, this rule was set by you." The bird's nest head (Dwun) stared incredulously at the phone in Ging's hand.

"Ah? What did you just say?"

Ging put away his phone and turned to look at the bird's nest head, puzzled.

"Phone, you were on the phone here!" The bird's nest head shouted.

"Haha, you caught me."

Ging laughed indifferently. Before the bird's nest head could continue, Ging stepped past him and walked to the fried noodles and plain water on the floor, sitting down and starting to eat.

"Mmm, thanks for the meal."

Ging said while chewing.

"You did it on purpose, right? You came at my mealtime on purpose!" The bird's nest head's face twitched with anger.

That was his meal, which he had planned to take back to his room to eat while working. But as soon as he entered the room, he saw Ging on the phone.

After saying this, he rushed over to grab the fried noodles, but...

With a desperate look at the plate with only some juice left, he saw Ging's cheeks puffed up, having stuffed all the noodles into his mouth within seconds.

"Gulp!"

Seconds later, Ging swallowed all the noodles and drank the plain water in one gulp.

He stood up satisfied, patted the bird's nest head on the shoulder, and said, "I have something to leave for. I'll leave the island matters to you."

As soon as he finished speaking, he ran off, leaving the bird's nest head's angry shouts behind.

The Zoldyck family.

Kikyo had been in the delivery room for less than ten minutes and successfully gave birth to a boy.

Killua was born.
