Chapter 641: Destroying the Geometric Civilization Was as Easy as Swatting a Fly!

"This is impossible!"

The sudden exclamation interrupted everyone's discussion, coming from a top research scientist of the Geometric Civilization.

After establishing communication with the home world, Administrator Moni, with Lynn's permission, had sent a neutron sphere over using wormhole technology.

The leaders of the Disc Civilization took this 'gift' from the Magic Empire very seriously, so it was immediately subjected to scrutiny. The results revealed nothing extraordinary about the material—it was just a slightly larger neutron cluster, something the Geometric Civilization could also achieve with some effort.

What was truly commendable was the anti-gravity technology on its surface, allowing even carbon-based lifeforms to handle this mass comparable to a giant mountain without being crushed. This led to a gathering of top scientific researchers from the Geometric Civilization to commence their study.

"Any new discoveries?" the Supreme Leader asked with high importance. He didn't believe this was merely a gift. Considering it was sent by the interstellar Governor, it certainly carried a deeper significance.

The researchers, excited, reported: "The strong nuclear force inside this neutron sphere extends to a staggering five hundred times the atomic distance!"

This statement shocked all the Geometric beings present.

Although not all the Disc leaders were scientists by training, thanks to genetic modifications, they could ingest information directly into their neuro-brains, making 'common knowledge' like the range of strong nuclear force crystal clear to them, typically ranging from one atomic distance to one ten-thousandth of it.

The atomic distance was derived from the smallest volume in the atomic sequence—the diameter of a hydrogen atom.

Similarly, the time unit used by the Geometric Civilization—the atomic second—was determined based on the frequency of natural energy transitions of hydrogen atoms.

This standardization avoided complications in communication with other civilizations, as the atomic second was a measure easily quantified even by weaker planetary civilizations.

"So, the technology of the Magic Empire can directly influence the strong nuclear force itself?" The Supreme Leader spoke gravely, his electromagnetic waves intermittent.

The Geometric Civilization could manufacture neutron spheres, but essentially, this was just an application of cosmic laws, forcibly compressing the distance between protons or neutrons to bind them tightly together.

This was how natural atomic nuclei were formed—they were merely replicating this process using the power of the laws themselves.

The opponent's method, however, involved altering the laws themselves, even if it was just expanding the range of the strong interaction. This proved that the Magic Empire had the capability to manipulate the strong nuclear force directly!

This meant that their pride and reliance—their artificial black holes—might not be as intimidating as previously thought.

A civilization that had studied dimensions extensively and could manipulate the strong nuclear force was very likely to possess the capabilities to create and defend against black hole attacks.

Why hadn't they used this in previous wars? There were many possibilities, the most despairing being the theory of gladiatorial combat. The battle with the Geometric Civilization's fleet might have just been an experiment to test the combat abilities of high-dimensional biological weapons, akin to a gladiatorial arena where as long as victory was achieved, the master would not need to personally interfere.

"A gift... a gift..." The Supreme Leader stared at the neutron sphere, now held by a scientist in the center of the meeting hall, suddenly realizing why it had been specifically given to Moni to bring back after proposing to 'purchase' Element Seven.

This was clearly to put them at ease! Element Seven was a treasure of the Geometric Civilization. When the other party proposed using it as compensation, some leaders vehemently opposed, considering it an utterly foolish decision to hand over such a trump card.

According to the top researchers, the potential of Element Seven had not yet been fully explored. Preserving this trump card could, thousands of years later, potentially allow them to leapfrog through a technological explosion.

Once handed over, the Magic Empire, upon learning the secrets of Element Seven, would become even more formidable, possibly leading to the annihilation of their civilization in pursuit of more of the element.

Now, these leaders had abandoned such thoughts, as the technology displayed by the other party was simply too terrifying. A tenfold acceleration in time flow meant that without a miracle, the Geometric Civilization would never stand a chance against their opponents.

The meaning behind this 'gift' was now clearer than ever—with the current technological level of the Magic Empire, destroying the Geometric Civilization would be as easy as swatting a fly! If they were wise to 'trade' and satisfy the Magic Empire's interest in Element Seven, they could continue to maintain peace. If not, they would invite a calamity.

In a way, this was indeed the best gift possible!

"Supreme Leader, I have another matter to report," Moni said, breaking the prolonged silence in the meeting hall. He had discreetly stored a portion of magic power, thinking to send it back with the opening of the wormhole, but the risk

was too great. If discovered, it would be considered theft of crucial strategic materials, and the Geometric beings left on Planet 1700 could be eliminated, potentially sparking a war between the two civilizations.

Without confirmation from the home world, he naturally didn't dare take the risk.

Hearing that Moni had successfully obtained a portion of magic power, the Disc leaders were visibly envious. The special properties of magic power were evident from the data transmitted earlier; it was definitely a higher-end energy source than Element Seven, and the dimensional technology of the Magic Empire was likely related to this magic power.

"You should have been more decisive. Opening the wormhole was clearly the best opportunity!" A disc-shaped leader expressed regret.

Opening a wormhole within the planet was bound to be detected by the Magic Empire, so this 'gift-giving' might have been the only chance. Yet, it was missed due to Moni's hesitation, which was truly regrettable.

However, given that the decision involved the survival of their civilization, it was a choice not everyone dared to make, and it was hard to blame Moni.

After some discussion, someone proposed a second plan—to transport this portion of magic power out during the next compensation transfer!
