Chapter 561: The Principle is the Law of Alternate Universes!

"It seems that the Lord of the Dead Souls has indeed fallen."

Lynn raised his hand, a pale chaos condensing in his palm, where everything it touched seemed to vanish, as if even souls could be erased.

It appeared that his antimatter cannon had indeed obliterated the Lord of the Dead Souls, both body and divinity, leaving only his ‘clerical position’ which then merged into Lynn’s own divine realm.

After some experiments, Lynn surmised that this so-called principle was a law, just like the speed of light, gravitational constants, and the annihilation of matter and antimatter, forming one of the fundamental frameworks of a plane.

It was a rule belonging to another universe, and the power he received was akin to a seed, eroding matter and energy at an extremely slow rate, and could only be utilized within his own divine realm.

Clearly, the fundamental laws of the two universes were not entirely the same, and Lynn suspected that the Lord of the Dead Souls, upon arriving in this world, could only exercise a fraction of his power, which was one of the most crucial reasons for his victory.

If the roles were reversed, and Lynn entered the Lord of the Dead Souls’ divine realm, he likely wouldn't stand a chance.

After roughly experimenting with the transformation of the deathly divine power, Lynn began to address the aftermath of the battlefield, especially the ozone layer hole in the sky, which needed immediate attention.

Otherwise, the dangerous cosmic rays would easily penetrate the atmosphere, continuously deteriorating the ecological environment of the Eternal Star.

This kind of sky-mending work was not too difficult for Lynn now.

The ozone surrounding the entire planet is composed of three oxygen atoms, the most basic chemical equation.

The only challenge was the extensive damage to the ozone layer, and after the fierce battle with the Lord of the Dead Souls, Lynn was quite exhausted. It took him nearly half an hour to finally complete the task of repairing the sky!

Meanwhile, Harof and others were anxiously awaiting the outcome of the battle.

Due to the terrifying aftermath of the battle between the deities, even over fifty kilometers away, the sheer power was palpable, so no one dared to approach, even the legendary wizards among the council members were too fearful to observe the battle, worrying that it might interfere with Lynn’s performance.

The civilians within the royal capital were huddling in their homes, trembling, as the extraordinary changes in the sky and the shifts in the planet’s magnetic field made all beings restless, as if the world was about to shatter at any moment...

"Is this a battle of gods?" Harof sighed.

He had thought reaching the legendary level was the limit of life, even harboring a bit of arrogance, believing that anything below legendary status was insignificant no matter the quantity!

Yet now, he realized that even legends were mere ants before gods!

Standing on the city walls, using distant vision magic to gaze at the post-battle scene, Victorio and others also expressed similar sentiments, amazed by the destructive power of each strike between Lynn and the Lord of the Dead Souls, far surpassing the most powerful magic they possessed, even akin to a nuclear explosion.

"The battle must be over by now, I wonder who won..." Aurora said worriedly, noting that no residual effects of the battle had spread for a good ten minutes.

"I think it must be good news, otherwise, we wouldn't be able to stand here!" Victorio said optimistically.

The reason was simple, if the Lord of the Dead Souls had won, his next likely move would be to annihilate them completely, and since they were still alive and well, it must be the best news.

Harof nodded, his worried expression easing slightly, but he was not entirely relieved.

For the same reason, if Lynn had won, then the opponent could arrive in an instant.

"Shall we go check it out together?" Aurora proposed, this matter concerned the fate of the entire world, and she couldn't rest easy without confirmation.

Harof opposed the idea, as their power was insufficient to affect the outcome of the battle, and waiting here was the right thing to do.

While they were arguing, a strong oppressive force suddenly emerged, followed by a grey-white beam of light projecting from the sky.

Everyone tensed up immediately because this domain tinged with the aura of death was a hallmark of the Lord of the Dead Souls!

However, to their surprise, the figure that emerged was a familiar one.

"Councilor Lynn?!" Harof exclaimed with joy, not suspecting any trickery from the Lord of the Dead Souls, as the latter could easily crush them.

Victorio laughed heartily and slapped Lynn on the shoulder. "I knew you could win this divine battle..."

Hmm... The touch felt the same as before, Victorio was surprised; he thought Lynn, after his ascension, would become an indescribable entity like Althok and the Lord of the Dead

 Souls.

Lynn, without a change in expression, moved Victorio's hand away, just as the latter expected, Lynn had already completed his transformation from a lower-dimensional to a higher-dimensional form, no longer describable as a human, or even a living being.

However, this descended avatar was still made of elements, allowing him to do everything an ordinary creature could, staying in this body helped stabilize his emotions, preventing him from becoming increasingly indifferent due to the lack of hormones.

"By the way, what about the Lord of the Dead Souls?" Aurora asked the most crucial question.

They were more curious about the details of the battle and how Lynn had defeated the Lord of the Dead Souls.

Lynn didn't intend to hide anything and briefly described the process.

"Using the entire Eternal Star as a magnet, and the continent beneath our feet as a generator, that's quite a mad idea..." After hearing Lynn’s account, Harof was momentarily lost for words.

Aurora and Victorio were also astonished by Lynn’s ingenuity, using the planet’s magnetic field as a weapon, no wonder he could unleash such immense power.

They were also intrigued by the antimatter Lynn mentioned, where matter and antimatter annihilation could convert and release energy with one hundred percent efficiency, which was simply staggering.

However, obtaining this substance was not easy; it required high-speed particle colliders, and the yield was very scarce, only attainable at the divine realm through divine mimicry of antimatter.

"In any case, I've destroyed the Lord of the Dead Souls’ divine body and divinity, and even seized his clerical position. If he can still survive after that, then I'm powerless!" Lynn said with a smile.

Harof and others were immediately reassured; the divine body, divinity, and clerical position were all extremely important to a deity. Other than the divine realm, Lynn had destroyed everything of the Lord of the Dead Souls, leaving no chance for survival.

"It seems we don't need the God of Life and Creation to intervene; we can handle this trouble ourselves." Aurora’s face also revealed a smile.

Initially, that crow that flew from the other side of the time-space gate, constantly calling them natives and glorifying the Lord of the Dead Souls, had really frightened them.

Lynn shook his head; the Lord of the Dead Souls was not weak, but having left his divine realm and descended into this vast universe, managing to exert a third of his power was already remarkable.

Just as the crow had said, leaving the divine realm was extremely dangerous for a deity.

"And I think the God of Life and Creation must have already intervened!" Lynn’s expression became serious as he looked up; the time-space rift above had somehow closed, and not only that, the numerous time-space gates scattered across the continent had also been shut.

Was this situation different from what the Star Envoy had described, or was the opponent's method of helping them against the Lord of the Dead Souls to close the time-space gates?

If he hadn't found a way to break through to the divine realm, even facing an energy-deprived Lord of the Dead Souls, he wouldn't have stood a chance.

This was more likely the opponent's intention to trap the Lord of the Dead Souls in this world, then take the opportunity to do something else.

A hint of unease arose in Lynn’s heart, then suddenly, as if he thought of something, he looked towards a certain place, his brows furrowing immediately, and he spoke up.

"I need to leave for a bit, if there are any other questions, we can discuss them later in the meeting room at the royal capital."

After his words, Lynn stepped forward, disappearing in front of everyone.

Seeing Lynn so hurried, Harof was quite surprised; they had already defeated the Lord of the Dead Souls, and the time-space gate was also closed, what else could be so urgent?

"Let's send out this good news first," Aurora suggested, the impact of this battle was too extensive, likely affecting everyone in the kingdom.

Besides, there were many post-battle tasks to be handled.

Elsewhere, Lynn had already arrived at the royal mansion with one step, directly passing through the courtyard to his room.

At first glance, Lynn looked at the cage on the table.

The entire cage was intact, but the crow inside had vanished.

Muto also rushed over immediately, circling Lynn incessantly, displaying a wronged expression.

Still unable to speak the common tongue, it kept using its front paws to make flying motions, drawing a large circle in front of itself, then suddenly sprawling out… using this method to convey that it wasn’t due to its negligence, but that the crow had exploded itself…
