Last week I mentioned that in the manga, the battles are happening simultaneously. Fun fact: Todoroki & Momo were the first ones to beat a teacher! Momo finally got her moment to shine. Even tho it was cut out in your reaction, I like the part where Todoroki asked if Momo was nauseous because she was crying. This boy is so socially awkward (Endeavor didn't let him have a childhood & Deku is most probably his first friend) that he doesn't even understand why a girl would be crying LOL I love him

When I watched this episode, the coolest part was seeing nitinol, as I am a chemical engineer. And it indeed has all the properties that Momo described.

I love this part, it's silly but so fun! Can't wait for more <3

Just don't look at episode 25's title before watching. It's very spoilery.

Caleb will be really happy with a character that will show up in HxH at one point

I think having a stockpile could actually hinder Momo because then she has to carry them around with her all the time. And as we saw in the Sports Festival where carrying Mineta in the race slowed her down considerably, she isn't very physically strong. Her knowledge will probably let her make these items as small (weight and size-wise) as possible but there is a limit to when it starts becoming more troubling than convenient. I'm just guessing (I haven't read the manga) but I think that book she carries with her in her costume is probably a catalogue of things she WOULD stockpile in case she forgets anything. In my opinion, that is a lot more efficient than keeping a physical stockpile since she can fit a lot more things into it without needing an hour to decide what to take with her and what to leave behind. And yes. As someone else pointed out, Todoroki needs to have contact with whatever surface he's freezing. He can't just make a slide protruding from the floor by looking at it. It's nice to know that even his OP quirk has weaknesses.

It might have been said (I'm not sure) but Powerloader is a support teacher. Hatsume Mei's to be exact.

Todoroki's quirk was probably cancelled up until Momo used her flash bombs. That's why Momo was still able to use her quirk to slip out of Aizawa's restraints; Aizawa hadn't blinked yet.

About the whole romantic subject, I agree that it's nice to see MHA tackle it, but I'm not a huge fan of how they executed it. I mean, the focus on Uraraka was great in the Sports Festival and I was pretty positive on seeing more good development for her. But then she's suddenly only interesting to the plot again because she's the love interest. No matter what kind of show, action or romance, we should never be able to summarize a character as "that sweet girl who likes the main."

Kenji

wait a minute she got trapped by Aizawa's cloth and creates this ring something to get rid of it. Why couldn't she do the same to Mineta back at the festival

A little thing about Momo and the matryoshka dolls that probably won't get mentioned at all, she didn't just make them for the flash bombs. Momo used matryoshkas to practice her quirk as a kid, and it's one of the first things she could make flawlessly without much thought. It's mentioned in an extra after this fight in the manga: https://i.pinimg.com/736x/1b/ba/2e/1bba2e342cbf7663e81005c627906de5.jpg

What are you talking about Jacob? Shonens have romance all the time. As Caleb said though, it's often annoying. Naruto, you start off with Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke triangle. Bleach had the whole Ichigo, Orohime, and Rukia thing. You've already mention FMA. Yu Yu Hakusho also had it, though I honestly can't even remember the girl's name. HxH is one of the few that doesn't have it.

kevinup

one very far away point at 2 episodes per week lol

I can't express how excited I am every week to hear your reactions. You guys are always funny, honest and extremely insightful. Keep up the awesome work!

Todoroki lacks precision. That has been a recurring issue with him. Bakugo commented on it, and even Stain commented on it. He focuses too much on his Quirk. He just "uses" it, he doesn't "control" it. Especially with regulating temperatures, and doubly-especially with flames. He probably couldn't have managed the precision necessary to get down.
