IMPORTANT

-Google Drive location is shown in the first beta post here.

-MiSTer: All MRA files are new. Old ones won't work delete them

-MiST/SiDi: All ROM files need be re-generated. Use the -A option to generate the ARC file too. mra file.mra -A -z zip-folder

-MiST and SiDi now use .ARC files to load the games. Read the official documentation about .ARC files here. You can get them from the ARC folder in Google drive. Copy ARC, ROM and the RBF file to the root of your SD card. Rename the RBF file to JTCPS1.RBF

-Support for vertical games: use the OSD to flip the screen around if you need it to suit your physical screen. Note that the boot test doesn't flip. Once the game starts, it will read and apply the flip value.

-As for all vertical cores: screen rotation adds 1 frame lag. If you don't rotate the image, there is no lag

-Once in pause, you can toggle off the credits by pressing 1P. This is useful to take snapshots. The change is not permanent. Credits will always be shown when you hit pause.

I am very happy to bring joy to shooter lovers this week. Although I had 1941 working since a couple of weeks ago, the real job was to make it work with the screen orientation through HDMI without breaking the horizontal games. This eventually required new MRA files to store screen orientation information.

The new MRA file also adds information about the M68000 CPU speed as some games run at 12MHz. The new RBF supports it too. So it is more accurate now.

We are reaching the end of the CPS catalogue. Let's see what I can get you for next week!

-Los MRA viejos no valen

-Los .rom viejos no valen. Hay que regenerarlos. Si usas: mra nombre.mra -A -z carpeta_zip se generar el archivo ARC también

-En MiSTer, si rotas la pantalla añades una imagen de retraso

-En pausa, si pulsas 1P puedes desactivar los creditos. El cambio no es permanente. Cada vez que entres en la pausa los creditos se muestran.

Estoy muy contento de traer por fin el grueso de juegos de disparo de la CPS. El 1941 lo tenía funcionando desde hace un tiempo pero tenía que solucionar el problema de rotar la pantalla sin perder compatibilidad con los juegos horizontales y eso es lo que me ha llevado más tiempo. Al final para hacerlo he tenido que añadir más información al fichero MRA.

Esta versión del core también diferencia entre juegos a 10 y 12MHz y corre cada uno a su velocidad.

Se nos esta acabando ya el catálogo CPS. A ver que os traigo la semana que viene...

I have an issue with this update. The core is not scandoubling the analog output. Is this a known issue?

Yes. It was a side effect of the screen rotator. I have fixed it already for this week's update.

First of all, I greatly appreciate all the work that goes into these. I love CPS1 and so I'm glad to support this project. :). I'm having a really hard time getting these to work on a fully-updated MiSTer (last ran the update util this morning). I have the latest 4/4 jtcps1_20200404.rbf file in _Arcade/cores. All the MRA files from MRA - 20200404 are in _Arcade/_CPS1 and all of the ROMs are in _Arcade/mame. The ROMs are from 0.218 un-merged set. Every game just loads to a black screen.

I am not sure about whether _Arcade/_CPS1 is a valid location. I personally have the setup I described in the first beta post. If you link your Discord account to Patreon you can ask other users as I know people are using other locations too.
