Well! It's been two or three months since Victorious part 2 dropped, but I've finally got SOMETHING done on the Sam & Cat review. This is 12 pages of analysis based solely on the first episode, I'm going to likely record a lot of this soon. Would love some feedback!

Sam & Cat: From the Pilot

So a quick recap of important details for those who are watching this video first. In the final episode of iCarly, Carly Shay is reunited with her rarely seen military father, who is either in the navy or the air force depending on what episode you are watching.

I mentally read the script in Quinton's voice and that felt weirdly natural.

Sam and cat have a baby problem. You can tell the narrative of the show is no longer targeted towards the teenage-tweenagers. The characters feel like I'm stuck at grandmas house on thanksgiving with the little kids always. It's in a permanent limited little space. So im 17 and my ragtag gang is ??? Dice who is an actual child. Goomer acts like a child. And look another fun pal for an average 17 year old is.. a grandma? Don't little kids love grandma?! And the characters arnt as snappy or funny and also limited to keep up with the attention span of literal children. You have 4 essentials the bossy cool who you recognize from that one show. And I'd argue she lost her bite and just became bitter. Then red hair girl dumb dumb girly who you wanna dress up as. The 10 year old who you feel close in age to and goomer whose a good age substitute for anyone between 4-9. And sometimes grandmas around. It's limited and boring and the revolving door of characters to babysit isn't exciting enough to really ever be the main plot element. And when it is it kind of bends reality? Scary Halloween episode in mind. But the writers of the show are also victorious and icarly coded so the unintentional/can't help it slip of anything off color or raunchy is just either way out of place or 100% gay
