So Dad and I have both agreed that the only way to make this re-edit worth it is to expand the video with more ideas: I also still want to do that Green Acres video, hopefully in 2024.

However, there's a big issue. I am pretty thoroughly burnt through on ideas for intermissions. We did our best ideas in the version still on the channel. I still have a few other ideas: another toy intermission, a "Things I Forgot" intermission, a paper dolls intermission, a Hillbilly parodies intermission, and finally a road trip segment of us going to the Hillbilly truck in the Ozarks.

But I'll admit I am spent otherwise. So I wanted to post this here - do y'all have any intermission ideas? I'd love to work in a few bonus ones.

I know I want to work in an intermission of Dad reading responses to the original upload (I'll say he time-traveled or something). But I think having a few bonus segments would be really fun! Be sure to leave recommendations :)

Maybe talking about knock offs of what you're reviewing I can’t think of anything else to be honest.

I'd like to see what advertisements for the show were like, and what that consisted of in that era

An explanation of what the Ozarks are with examples, maybe history of that work and it's meaning along with general history of the The Ozarks

i cant remember if you have one on it yet, but you could probably do a deep dive into the theme song. Like every last detail about it. The musicians who wrote it. Its recording. Its copyright issues. The people who own it now (apparently Carolintone Music Company Inc.). Its legacy as a piece of music. The time weird al almost covered it in the style of Prince's Let's Go Crazy by Weird Al, but instead became the Dire Straits song cause Prince said no. The key, the way the music is written. The state of country music at the time. Is it actually a ballad? What qualifies it as a ballad? How does it rank with the other themes of the Henningverse? Could also do intermission like this for the Petticoat Junction and Green Acres themes, though I figure that would be less interesting given their legacy being a bit less than the parent show. But who knows.
