118 - wip gif + wip (Patreon)

Here's the gif showcasing my workflow on this project.

I was liking the white variant of this, but still wanted to experiment on adjusting the colours, so that's when I started to save screenshots.
And this is why you can see in the beginning of the gif how only the colours keep changing on the character (like the first 4 steps). After that, I added another layer of shadows, then more colour adjustments, some light touches, and for one frame you can see I tried to make a background to this, then changed my mind in the next step. Then I added the little heart, created the bottom right head, then the top left and thickened the arm aswell before the very end (the character has some really thick arms, so I had to at least make this sketch a bit more like that).

And cuz I mentioned I liked the first frame, I made that into a still picture aswell here.
Altho, that was so colourless, even the tongue was white... but I didn't save that stage, nor took a screenshot (and re-making it would be time-consuming) so... I just say it it looked like that before. :'d
The character has black tongue, so that's the detail that made me continue colouring in the first place... Guess it was indeed the right thing in the end. 😌
