Random - fem Anti-Venom wip gif (Patreon)

I also included some alts, which basically has a different coloured background; I was testing how it would look and was hesitating if I should change it, but kept the first try in the end.

When starting to work on this, I think I've made this lil helping method for the first time: I've put the gathered reference pictures behind the sketching layer.
So while working on her, I could constantly look at design details of the character. As I've mentioned before, I know nothing about this character. I actually read about him that it's still Eddie Brock, around this time which is also surprising for me, cuz I thought it's a different guy. :'d

Just to mention something different; I think since the end of last year, I've been thinking of designing a new symbiote OC. I only have specific characteristic in mind so far for that. I haven't even decided if it should be a male or female. I had thought I'd make it slim, long-necked and tall. I think the "long-neck" part kinda appeared on this drawing first. Or idk, maybe that's just normal lenght? idk xd Just to talk about this said oc-wannabe a bit more, I also wanna give em tiny eyes .......... like...... this drawing has.... ha x'd
I don't have strict ideas for their pattern, I'm still just imagining things how they should look like. Just picking up ideas and constantly thinking about em. I probably gonna make that character a female, but we'll see when I'll randomly just draw the character down.

To talk a bit more about this drawing tho:
- the long sharpened fingers were a bit "thought-provoking" for this situation on the pic, but guess I could manage it. xd
- As for the spidey symbol, I like the part where I made the first 2 legs seem to look like it's hanging on her neck, almost like hugging. And yes, I made the 2nd pair of legs "under" her breasts on purpose. Almost looks like it holds em up. xd
- I'm kinda sad how the body of the spider symbol is covering the details of her abs. Tried to make it visible as making those lines colourful (kinda grayish), with not much of luck in that. 😔
- I am aware of the "flaw" with the pattern on her thigh btw, I didn't think of erasing it where it goes into her other leg, looks more sketchy like this.
- I also enjoyed adding her stitches on. -w-
- And I like how this kinda shows the whole character, minus the feet, obviously. Kinda gives it a special vibe to see em fully. I kinda noticed that on myself, that whenever there's a character I drew and the full body shows, it feels more "alive" or something? It's just nice in a way.
- I didn't bother drawing feet at all, I also was planning to crop the picture so her arm that's resting on the top of the sofa would be chopped off from sight, but let it be there in the end.
