Random - fem Anti-Venom (Patreon)

I was scrolling on a discord server, found some catchy soundtrack ( this-this ) and I was already in arting mood. I wanted to do something quick and sketchy and already were looking for poses for a female Anti-Venom arting session.

So last year, Dec 30 2021, I've answered an interesting ask at CuriousCat, which was basically about Anti-Venom but in a female version. Here's the ask and answer: link and the twitter post about it: link

I kept remembering of this ask and was thinking how I'd draw this character. I know nothing about this Anti-Venom character btw, I also prefer the original, and dark coloured symbiotes tbh, I think they look cooler. There's also a few different variations of this character on google, different looking, different bodytyped, so finding the same look of him was a bit challenging. After a bit of scrolling and searching, I gathered a few pics I liked design-wise before heading into drawing.

As for the female version, at first I didn't know what kind of bodytype I should give to her, but thinking I most likely gonna draw this character only once and won't do it again, I just went with a basic kinda look. The male version's design also has black colour in the line of his bottom mouth part, a part of his jaw and chin. I decided to leave that part white, so it wouldn't look like a goatee on a female character. Also in this case it would be truly a bit different from the original design, and cuz of the top part being the only area black, it would give a nice skull-like look. (... yea.... I like nice skull resembling things xd especially here when they should look like monsters anyways)
As I was working on her design, making her head more monsterous alike, I started to getting to like her more. xd I like the sharp lines and edges for her jawline.

Back in the day, when I drew my first picture of my femVenom, I also drew 2 other female symbiotes, and I love em all. They were made quickly and the pics look good. Altho there were at least 2 occasions when I found my drawing of Mania on the internet and the commenters didn't know who she was (one thought it was an OC, last one thought it was a mix of Gwen and Venom), so I thought I should just simply write next to the character stating who they are. I might do this again in future pics, to be more clear.

On this drawing, she's enjoying an ice-cream which is a lil fav treat of mine. The idea of her eating something came randomly, and it's a good way to show off her tongue in the pic. At first I was trying to figure out what colour I should make that popsicle be, then I remembered this fav, which's simply called Cactus;

I'm actually proud how it came out, and at some point, wanted to eat some while still drawing this pic.. xd

Made a few alts showing how she looks like with and without her spikes, and if she has a white line between her eyes or not (some designs on the male has it, some don't). I think I prefer the one where there's a line. It gives more characteristic and space for facial expressions. Without it it looks more demonic, kinda.
Last two are with a shorter line there.  I haven't decided yet which one I wanna publish, either the first/original pic or the one with shorter noseline thingy..
I also think I'll publish a smaller resolution version, like -10% smaller or something.

Overall, I like how this came out, it has some tiny flaws, but it's fine in this style. I like this style. c:
