FWIW though... I often cannot brain *until* my surroundings are less chaotic, so sometimes that cleaning frenzy can actually kickstart my productivity. Or at least make me feel less stressed out.

Cleaning is the thing I'm usually procrastinating on! My sister, though, is notorious for this. She has been known to clean the fronts of her cabinets rather than do whatever she's supposed to be doing!

Just did a version of this two days ago! What started out as looking for new colors to paint the walls, turned into cleaning out my closet, filing mounds of documents, and finishing a craft project. Still haven’t picked paint colors...
