One of the most helpful changes I’ve made this year is to stop expecting myself to be consistent at everything 100% of the time. With ADHD, things ebb and flow. Inconsistency is what consistency looks like for me. And while that’s hard, accepting it had made me less angry at myself— and easier to move past and get back on the horse.

I *reallllly* needed to read this today. The past week or so, my focus has been so bad. I often have difficulty finishing books, but I've been having difficulty reading one chapter in a day. I've been struggling more than usual and I've gotten so frustrated with myself. Thank you for reminding me that it's okay for me to be like this. <3

I'm only now getting diagnosed at 34 and up until now I always thought I was a really lazy person but now I know better, thank you for this.
