2023 Is Already Better! (Patreon)

We made it to 2023! I'm finally free of the shackles of the holiday season! While I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and a great New Year, the latter half of last year was less than pleasant. Got covid, had to evacuate for hurricane Ian, my dad had a mini-heart attack, and the holiday season happening around most of that didn't exactly help. Now, the holidays are over, dad's better, and I'm staying home when the next hurricane comes. The apartments were still standing last time, so there's no reason to leave unless it's a super rare emergency.

So, what's in store for 2023? Well for starters, the new workstation (PC build in previous post) you all contributed to will be here in about 2 weeks! At the latest, it's expected to be here by Jan 13th. The day it's delivered, I'll be taking a few days off work to really break it in. I even plan on doing a voice chat on Discord for anyone who wants to see how smoothly streaming anything I'm working on goes. I'll update everyone the day I hear it's shipping!

Speaking of new equipment for content creation, I'm happy to announce that you all made it possible for me to create awesome rock/metal music for WHOOKOS and Chronic Hazel (maybe Zelda UO occasionally for special occasions). For years now, I've struggled to create believable metal music because of how difficult it is to emulate a metal guitar. At least that's what I thought!

Presenting Impact Sounds | Shreddage 3 Hydra! This is a VST that works through Kontakt (works on the free version too) that beautifully emulates a multitude of electric guitars; not only for metal, but many genres (would also work punk reggae ska, like in WHOOKOS).
