Scarlet Law 0.3.9 Progress (Patreon)

Morning folks,

We're approaching the end of the month and 0.3.9 is (kind of) ready. I say kind-of because I feel that I already have enough content to release for the update. However, since it's mostly just story, I want to add a side sex scene for one of the characters to maintain people's interest.

This update will lead us to Viera's Scarlet Contract, so it'll be very story heavy. I tried my best to add a bit of nudity into it to spice it up a bit but I do want to avoid forcing nudity when it doesn't make sense. Next month I'll work on the actual Scarlet Contract itself so look forward to that.

We'll also be meeting the final (active) Champion, Cinderella (real name: Maple), for the first time. If you don't remember who she is, she's the master to Adeline (the girl at the beach) and the one who purchased the hot spring and beach from Makoto. She's been a character I've been working on for a long time, and I've made many adjustments to her over the last year. My goal is to try and keep every character interesting. I have a feeling that a lot of you won't like her, but we'll see.

Speaking of which, I've been doing some thinking and I'm debating whether or not I bother working on side characters that no one really wants to see. For example, there's no way that Magilou will be a character that folks are interested in (except maybe 1 or 2 of you). Perhaps the only time you'll ever see her naked are through side scenes with some of the other girls or through random Patreon posts I make. I don't think it's even worth having her character card included in the relationships screen. I feel like I'd be wasting my time working on characters that aren't THAT popular (especially if they are at the bottom of the list).

So yeah, I'm currently working on a side sex scene that will conclude this update. I really hope I'll be able to finish in time. I've actually been extremely unproductive the last few days, just staring at a blank screen and losing my mind. I really hope things pick up. I feel like I'm going to get to a point where I'm "out of ideas" because this scene I'm working on feels very average so far. My other option would be to take time off to try and think of better scenes but I don't feel like I have that luxury.
