Scarlet Law 0.3.16 Progress (Patreon)

Good afternoon Citizens,

This is a good time to keep people up to date as to what's going on. So this month will be extremely busy for me. I have finals over the course of the next 1-2 weeks, and I will be moving toward the end of the month. But once class ends, Scarlet Law will have my full attention. I've already gotten a small chunk of work done but we still have a long way to go. I want to try and conclude story + Rita's Scarlet Contract this update, but we'll see what happens. Starting May, I'll be free for the next 3 months or whenever the next semester starts. Hopefully during that time, we'll have normal updates again (maybe with higher quality since I feel really motivated at the moment to work on SL).

Next semester, I'm definitely not going to apply to as many classes this time. Maybe 4... but possibly 5. I've been experiencing financial difficulties (even during the times I was updating regularly) and bills have only been increasing (which is why I'm moving to another apartment). My ol' doggo is also a senior now and needs new meds, so that's also a huge hit to my bills as well. Sometimes I feel like whenever I save up the little money I can, it gets depleted quickly because of one vet visit. Pretty depressing stuff.

I might try to find a part-time job during the break, but we'll see. I'm making it my mission to focus on SL during the summer and I won't allow a part-time job to get in the way of it. I need to find the right opportunity though. I'm not going to do anything if it compromises my energy with SL. Maybe if one of you guys out there who c an hook me up with an software dev internship, let me know!

I'm expecting this update to be fairly long since it'll have a bunch of story stuff. I think I've already 1-2 sections already, with probably 7 total sections unless I cut some stuff out. We'll see. Also, I'm still not totally sure what I'm going to do with the Android version. There are a lot of people who are complaining about the quality/framework of the Android version and there are others who say it's fine. When we tried to do the extracting zip file method, people complained because they were frustrated and didn't know how to do it. And now that we're using an compressed APK file, people are still frustrated and confused. I'll figure something out and just need to continue testing.
