Too often, we see officers who are physically incapable of dealing with suspects. If you can't easily subdue a suspect, encounters often escalate. Where I live, in the 1990's, officers once were required to be 5' 9" and pass a rigorous physical test. Nowadays, anyone can apply.

You do need to carry your driver's license with you at all times when driving. In addition car insurance is required in all states, but two. New Hampshire and Virginia. Virginia you can pay the DMV $500 and New Hampshire you just don't need it, but you're financially responsible for damages and injuries if you cause them. You also need to show proof of registration upon request which shows the VIN number, owner, make/model and color of car. Failure to do so or habe in the car can result in a citation.

LOL The cops weren't this patient with my friend's drunk husband. He got tased after two warnings but he was really showing out.

Forgot to mention each state also sets their own minimum insurance requirements that drivers must have too.

Daz would be the worst cop ever haha "Put your hands behind your back!" "No...why!?" Daz - Opens fire...sprinkles a little crack on him.

Not aware of any height requirement, but there's always a physical requirement...but it's less for females. But it's one of those things where you only have to pass the test once and then you can get as fat and slow as you want. Most cops I run into here in NY though are all in great shape.

Height requirements were largely done away with by the mid 70s. I know that in Hawai'i the minimum was 5'9" in 1960s. The minimum height in much of the Mainland was 5'8" at that time.

In the US you need a license to drive, if you drive without you’ll get in trouble

No you won't. I have been pulled over without my license. I showed them a regular ID. They was able to see I'm eligible to drive. That's why they asked for an ID when the guy didn't have his license.
