I love the HoEF. It might sound weird, but it's what first attracted me to following your guys' work. I'd seen some HoH comics posted to a few subreddits I follow and always thought they were good, but I don't often pick up new comics these days. I think one time I noticed the ad for the Patreon extras, and since I'm a big 'ol pervert, decided to check it out! xD The combination of the colorful and fun art style with clever and arousing writing really hooked me in, and I'm a supporter to this day! Sexy stuff gets a pretty mixed place in popular culture. Fanservice and implied sex is everywhere, but actually showing anything is looked down on as dirty, or a somehow "cheaper" form of entertainment. To the point where even calling HoEF "porn" sounds like an insult. But I love sexy things, particularly sexy comics! They're a wonderful mix of visuals (obvious) and narrative (which is just as important, at least for me!) I have a lot of respect for people who are willing to put themselves out there and create erotic comics, even though it'd be safer or more "mainstream" to keep things PG-13. I especially have respect for creators who do both, and aren't afraid that their "normal" creations are somehow sullied or diminished by also being depicted in erotic ways. (Remember, Rule 34 was meant to *mock* how some people find eroticism or entertainment in porn of otherwise non-erotic things) The upshot is that I'm always pretty excited when I find out artists or creators of a work I enjoy also like to present their characters, or just their artistic talent, in a sexy light. Patreon rewards have been a real boon for that sort of thing, with many "mainstream" comics I follow having NSFW tiers, or alternate Patreons where they can be more open about that sort of stuff. The HoEF is not exception to this; if anything, I'd say it's a shining example of how the "adult" side of a work can deepen and improve the "all-ages" side. How many plot point started as one-strip gags or alternate universe ideas have ended up in the "canon" HoH? Femme-Fighter was a pretty standard joke about the dude-bro meathead getting turned into a *gasp* girl! But that eventually led to Wizard's transition...which may have also been born from the "gender-bender" joke trope, but I think gave real insight and nuance to not just Wizard's character, but Thief's as well. Just because something is a joke, doesn't mean it can't mean something. Similarly, just because something is about sex, or has sex, doesn't mean it's "just porn." And much more. I've rambled on here way too long, even though I could probably go on for a while longer (I've been wanting to talk about Wizard, Fighter and gender for long time!) but this already is probably so much text Patreon's going break. x3 I'll just wrap things up by saying, I really, really admire you both and the other people who support you in making both the HoH and HoEF. It's always a highlight of my day when I see a post pop up in my feed, and I hope to be around for many sexy shenanigans, erotic adventures, and sticky situations to come! :D

Thank you!!! I have to admit that you're right about NSFW comics being seen as less acceptable in the general comics world, but I (and other NSFW creators, I think) also think that hopefully with time that we can make it more accepted. Sex is a really natural thing! It's not something to be ashamed about. I have sketchbooks worth of drawings that would fit right in to HOEF (well, okay, a lot of it is Exalted themed), and I really like drawing it! I'm really really lucky to have the support of everyone on Patreon to help me draw things I enjoy as a (someday, hopefully full-time!) job. So I really really appreciate all the love and support you give to our work, it really means the world to me. <3
