A Perfect 10 (Patreon)

It’s a funny thing, having bad stuff happen to your character. On the one hand it’s an opportunity for character growth and high drama. As we saw way back in the aptly named Drama! strip, our pal Wizard is all about that sweet inner turmoil. If the daily drama happens to displace an aspect of your character that you really like, however, then you’ve got problems. 

Wizard and Thief have been an item for most of our run, and that relationship is one of the few things to endure through some 200 odd comics. Now that we’re on the other side of the Patreon wall and staring down the barrel of a Fighter-less party of Heroes, that relationship is going to be tested. It’s going to be tested hard. I mean, look at that Warlock guy. Dude is smokin’ hot! 

Like I said in the Escape Artist strip, our main party of Heroes featured tall and skinny, short and hairy, and Fighter's goofy rectangular mug. It didn’t take us long to realize that we needed to add some proper man meat to the mix. Enter Warlock. 

For all you 5e aficionados out there, you can probably recognize the lean physique of a blade-lock when you see it. The dude may not have the staying power of Fighter, but he makes up for it in other ways. Mostly with that (ooh girl!) startlingly large Charisma score.
