Who would have expected a real moment like this all of a sudden?  When Vinyl realizes she is no longer doing the adult stuff for subscribers or for the money, or even just for Octavia, but something even deeper, she breaks down and realizes she isn't as happy as she usually seems.  She hides it well most of the time.

Early on in this arc (which happened far too long ago) Vinyl's real reason for probably joining this adult stuff was so she could feel wanted, loved, and pretty.  Yes, she even says this in this episode.  Just another faucet to Vinyl that maybe some have picked up on overtime.  Yes she is chill and and happy (outwardly) most of the time, but she has inner feelings (we all do).  Not everyone is readable like a book and Vinyl represents that well in this series.
