Look at us build-up the reader with so many expectations in this episode!  Aww, it's fun! These two look like they are having a fun time driving across Cascade State to Spomane.

And since Cascade State is our proxy for Washington, you can see a mountain range behind them in the background.  Like in real life and on satellite maps, the western half of Washington is the lush green forests everyone expects.  The eastern half is drier, with lots of brush/scrubland and even some desert-like terrain with massive canyons.  It is on this eastern half of the state that the majority of farming is.  The state is one of the top producing goods state for food in the entire country.  So like in real life, outside the windows of their car we see lots and lots of farmland.

When you get tired of driving, remember you can pull into a 69 petrol station! "69: Fuel Up!  Nice!"

As a Californian, I'm sure Washington's agricultural industry is very cute.

Let's see, Washington is the second biggest wine producer in the United States behind California, and in the past ten years has won more awards for their wine. ;-) They are the top apple producing state. Largest producer of hops in the United States. The largest producer in of apples, blueberries, pears, cherries in the US. Number two at apricots, asparagus, grapes, potatoes and raspberries. 3RD in peas, lentils, onions. The largest state for organic farms in the country, a top producer in plums, peaches, and in the top five for milk, wheat, cattle, hay, and eggs. It's certainly more than cute. ;-) Thank you US.gov agriculture Dept for the info. :D The second per capita state for green energy (hydro power) and the second least polluting state in the country. Woowee.
