FET v.0.9.1c - early access (fixed softlock bug) (Patreon)

Heyho! You might not have encountered this bug in yesterday's version (if you haven't yet, go read that post for some more general info), but basically if you talked with Korra about certain subjects during book 4's love route too early you could get soft locked.  Talking with Korra about more than one NEW subject a day would trigger it. To clarify, once you stepped in this bug, you'll mostly likely have to reload an earlier savegame.

I think I fixed that problem in this version and It looks like it only happened during the first couple of days so if you're beyond that you should be safe. Still, it's best to get a new version without that potential problem.

The new content for this build ends when you reach day 11 of book 4's love route. The days will be shown in the left upper corner of the compound map. You won't progress to the night during day 11.  You'll get scolded by katara,  can have fun with the guard's captain behind, give Jinora a massage and watch a new mover reel which you'll get from shady during that last day.


If asked for a password, type "muffbitties" without parenthesis.

And the double name entry on android? When starting a new game it takes your input and doubles it. Known bug or new feature?

Loved the update, even if its not a "full" one there was plenty of content here. Would love to see a slightly extended cave scene with dialogue or even art. Otherwise, glad you have managed to get back on track and feel free to take as long as necessary to make sure you both are doing good!

Welp. The android install did not work so I deleted my app to start fresh. I click on install and now its says the same thing that happened before. App not installed. I had a similar issue with another game and I can no longer install new versions of that one either. I cant give a lot of info aside from that. I tried going through my files to find a shred of old files but nothing comes up. Big sad.

So when you go to: my files/device storage /android/ data you can't find anything more (like fet.start) to purge? I had to uninstall and install it again too because of the same problem a while ago. Perhaps.. and this is just me guessing.. you could install an older version (the same one which you removed earlier) and that will work? Maybe after a fresh install it'll allow itself to be cleanly removed. I really don't know, but those are the things I'd be thinking about.

Thanks Marcus. Yeah, the cave scene does feel like it could entail a bit more... hmm maybe for the future. Right know I want to focus on some scenes for the next build which will take things further than just looking at girls.

I'm going to have a conversation about that with cbob and hope to talk about that in the next art update so we'll all know what to expect from the future. I'd prefer a steady dependable release schedule above all.

Hmm I tried it myself just now in 091c starting a new game. and I could name the character without doubling. Could I accidentally have fixed that? Not likely!

if you click on it nothing happens? No text? You stay on the worldmap? Because you should be able to go to brown town with her on that day. How about the Jinora massage and the new reel from Shady with the Kuvira tape? Were you able to see those?

I'm quite curious how many Jinora scenes their will end up being, how large will this sidestory be and will it have an ending in and of itself? Given how popular she is, I find myself intrigued

Nothing changed tbh for the pc version. Nothing unlocked from the last one. I guess it will be fixed soon enough.

The softlock bug is the kind which once you've stepped in it.. it clings.. You'll have to load an earlier savegame or start the route again. Extremely annoying and the reason why I hate this kind the most.

It sorta depends. We've added a significant amount of character scenes in the past just because people really took a liking to some of the characters.

Loved everything so far! Is there more to do or is it stuck at day 11? I've done the guard, watched the new mover, talked to everyone, done the therapy session and training is "under development" :)

the love route for book 4 may be short rn but its really compact with a lot, and i have some suggestions for it: so for the part where you and korra go for the walk outside, i think you should have two choices, if you say yes then you ruin any chance to get with jinora, and if you say no then you ruin your chances to get with korra, that way you have to rely on saves and reloading to unlock different paths also maybe make the love route based around the air benders, so like when opal and kai were on a mission to get food and supplies for the state and they were attacked by bandits, maybe make it so you can go on missions like that and fight off the bandits similar to how you fought the earth nation in the fire book, that way you could get closer to opal maybe have another option that impacts your playthrough, like you can choose to join opal, or kuvira, and each side prevents you from getting close to the other so you're stuck with the choice you make, once again making the saves more useful and the last idea is a juicy orgy at the end, when korra and asami go in the spirit world, would be cool if you can join and invite jinora, opal, ikki, etc, and have a huge orgy in the spirit world, and maybe have iroh hiding behind a bush as a joke lol the game is great so far and i love the progress yall are making, and im glad cbob took a brake, depression is no joke and i wish cbob the best for it and i hope cbob knows that this community yall built cares about ya and we got yo back

Unfortunately you might have gotten stuck because of the softlock bug. The only real solution to this is to restart book 4's love route in v0.9.1c or load an earlier save game during day 1. Talking about more than one new subject with korra during the same day is what caused it.

That's the sort of stuff you'll find out in the final chapter. Once the love route is finished there'll be a chapter which is going to tie up a couple of stuff .

So, can we expect a steady workflow again? I wish cbob the best and his health is a priority but at the same time I really want to continue the story. I completed the new part yesterday and really liked it. Hope the game gets regular updates from now on

(Marty here) Getting a reliable release schedule going again is my biggest wish. Part of the fun is looking forward to something after all and you'll need a reliable schedule for that. Still, to get there I'm going to be very careful with putting pressure on Cbob. I don't wanna risk us returning to where we where six months ago. I'll talk a bit more about it in a future art update though.

I still think, at least on a temporary basis, you should get a helper who can mitigate his workload and prevent more delays like the one we had. That being said, I'm glad he's doing better!

Ugh, I don't wanna do it with an old woman like Kya (did the slave route old woman orgy and honestly might like the old Katara option more here). It'd be entertaining to have Kya walk-in on Katara getting more action than her, or at least being able to tell her like, "Fucked yer mom last night." And she doesn't believe you, for now. If it isn't clear, I'm a bit of a sadist. NTRing Kya out of everything she loves while giving her nothing would be some sick fun... Though taking her brothers from her does pose a challenge.

Am I the only one that got (or at least likes) the reference to Jinora's route in the slave route? Those options for the Korra youth potion are HILARIOUS and I honestly hope to see more out of it.
