I'm not sure specifically when but I do know that at least after Day 10, the HUD disappears in the market only.

Able to obtain obsidian early in chest on first visit to tunnels. On second visit, chests are closed and filled again allowing 2 obsidian batches early (useful but feels like a bug). Early obsidian allows hypnosis room construction early and gives a weird message if entered.
