Please note!

There is a huge FPS loss with Sol 2.1, if you have set a higher rendering frequency than "Two faces per frame" in your video's reflections settings.

DO NOT set a higher value than "Two faces per frame"!!!

I have set to 6 and didn't notice any loss of fps, Ryzen 7 3700X 4.2GHz, GTX 1660 SUPER OC 6GB, 1080p resolution.

Actually there should be a gain and it's related to CSP. Higher setting than 2 makes no real sense anymore. So just set it to 2 and you should see a gain in fps...

Sol 2.1 was optimized to have a lower cpu consumption than Sol 2.0. But it has some improved clouds rendering which causes a higher GPU consumption in the reflections part. So just lower reflections rendering frequency to "two faces per frame"! The related changes came with CSP 1.7x. It is adviced with this versions, to not set it higher then 2. You can even lower the refelctions resolution from 2048x2048 to 1024x1024, without a big loss of quality.

I gain 5-6 fps more from this. It is not much, but those who have old computers and every fps count, definetely meens something! So, thanks for this!
