So true, Klaus killing his own father (even though I'm sure he's always yearned to know him) is the most Klaus-thing ever. His paranoia (but also protectiveness) is unmatched lol. I think I'm gonna leave it at that and just immediately jump into next episode (thank you so much for posting two TO reactions. What a treat!)

That song always makes me think of "O Brother, Where art Thou?"

Yeah I replaced the original version on the episode with the better version. lol

My favorite thing about Klaus killing his father, is that he did believe him. When his father tells him he's not capable, Klaus says to him "that's the first lie you've told me." And when he says that, you can see it in his father's face that he knows he's about to die, and he's just sad that Klaus feels that he has to do that for Hope's safety

I quite liked that happy accident. Made a crappy day a lot more tolerable, so thank you :)

Doing a rewatch prior to your next episode drops - but is it me or is Elijah daddy just more sexy in this episode because he's all dark and brooding? Is that toxic? lmao! I frigging love this show so much! I think this episode was great! Kol/Kaleb and Davina are totally adorable a lot of chemistry there. I like that piece of character development for him. Marcel on dad duties as usual, it's actually kinda funny and I love the father daughter relationship those two have. He's like of all the guys in the world Davina...Kol?! Brings me back to Klaus and him being protective over Rebekah and the choices she'd make when dating! I loved meeting the Dad I was sad that Klaus killed him. I would have loved for him to maybe have imprisoned him somewhere safe, which maybe if Esther were dead could have happened. I think it would have been more fun to see Michael hunt him down, but at the same time it shows Klaus's growth that he loves his daughter so much he will not risk anything happening to her.
