I will be reacting to the first episode tonight. If I do not hate it I will post the reaction and keep watching if I feel it is worth it. I am like a battered spouse when it comes to Trek. I might be to far gone to care at this point.

Going by the trailers this is what Picard should have been all along in my mind but we shall see what happens as I still have got to watch the Season 3 Premiere yet. It will be the first thing I'll be doing when I get home from work in 6 hours time. Heres hoping we both enjoy and also look forward to your reaction to it if you post it. 😊

I 'liked' the previous 2 series just enough, hardly top tier Trek, obviously. This one might bowl me over with a nostalgia mallet to the temple. Or maybe it'll knock wind out my Bajoran solar sails. 🤞🏻

Could you do a trial reaction for "The Orville" as well? You might like that show better, because it is more Star Trek than today's Star Trek.

So far, i'm hearing it's good. A return to what we remember. A bit closer to the movies than the show, but compared to what's been out lately, it's a big improvement. Guess we shall see.

I'm not going to lie to you, I have had less than ZERO hype for Star Trek Picard season 3. The first 2 seasons to me (not even including other modern Trek projects) were so corrosive to me as a fan... that I just feel burned out. Even though I lived and breathed Star Trek up until Enterprise went off the air, and have seen every episode multiple times, I have just felt alienated by what I saw. Given what I have heard though so far, I might need to give season 3 a try. I know how you feel Mega... I guess we'll see...
