New Ukulele Course Available Now! (Patreon)
Content
Hey guys! I hope you are having a fantastic Saturday!
I have good news. My first mini-course is now available on the Patreon page. Also, the website is finally ready.
ABOUT THIS COURSE
This first mini-course covers a fingerstyle technique called "Alternate Fingering."
With this technique, we pluck the strings with the index and middle finger continuously.
It's a technique used to play scales and melodies, but we will also use it to play chords in this course.
The goal is to develop your plucking fingers, and the alternate fingering is the right place to start.
No more sloppy plucking with just one finger, so make sure you get this technique right.
WHY THIS TECHNIQUE?
It is pretty common for ukulele beginners to pluck the strings with just one finger.
To be honest, I did the same when I first learned guitar! And it was easy!
I first started plucking the strings with just the thumb. Then I realized that I couldn't go faster, so I switched to index finger!
None of them worked, and it took weeks to learn how to pluck the proper way.
The problem with plucking with one fingering is that even if it feels ok initially, it becomes quite limiting after a while.
For this reason, I thought it would be good to have a course that shows you how to break this bad habit and teaches you how to pluck the strings correctly.
HOW CAN YOU ACCESS THE COURSE?
All the mini-courses are available on my Patreon page.
Until now, you could only select the $5 tier for the YouTube tabs.
I have just updated the main page with a $15 tier to give you access to all the mini-courses.
The goal is to quickly put out another mini-course on basic music theory (I am working hard to have it ready next month).
If you want to learn chords, chord progressions, Spanish ukulele, and songwriting (even at the most basic level), you need to cover music theory and learn where chords come from, scales, intervals, and triads.
Once we have this course, we can then explore so many other musical things easily.
I am super excited about it, so I hope I am choosing the right topic!
THANKS, A LOT!
