Greensleeves is a traditional English folk song from the 16th century. The song has been played and rearranged hundreds of times for different instruments and music styles. The truth is, Greensleves sounds insanely sweet on the ukulele. In this video, I will show you my simple arrangement of the song. I hope you enjoy it. P.S: I did my best to develop an arrangement that wasn't too similar to those I was listening to on YouTube. I am pretty sure there are other arrangements quite similar to mine. I apologize if I unintentionally took a few ideas from somebody else's arrangement. 🎸UKULELE I AM USING: Makai LT80.

Hi, Can you please do a fingerpicking tutorial “I see the Light by M. Moore and Z. Levi. (Tangled soundtrack). Thanks in advance😊

Hi Arlene, unfortunately, I am not teaching copyrighted songs. It's so hard to get permission from the publishers to use the songs. Sorry about that.

Thank you, Marco, for this lovely lesson on one of my favorite songs. I so appreciate your presentation and your genuine affection and delight of the ukulele. Always inspiring and instructional. Your effortless arpeggio roll is a desirable skill, but as an older adult learner of a stringed instrument I'm finding it very difficult to skillfully perform a distinct difference between the arpeggio, striking all four strings at the same and the arpeggiated roll with three strings. Any practice tips would be appreciated, especially for achieving a fluid roll.

This is wonderful. When I first started playing ukelele this was one of the first songs I wanted to learn, I wasn’t very skilled at picking, but I think I am now ready to learn! And here it is! Thank you.

We will talk about this technique in a dedicated video :) Enjoy the lessons, and thanks a lot for the kind words.

Such a lovely tune and your playing sounds so sweet on that ukulele. My Ukulele sounds dull by comparison (a Kala MT-70A). Probably need an upgrade 😎. Thanks Marco for this lovely arrangement and lesson🙏.

Thanks a lot, Glenn. I bought my Makai Lt80 online. I never tried one before, and trust me; it took a while to get the tone that I wanted. I thought it sounded "boxy" So, what I am saying is, try to pluck the strings in a slightly different way to see if you can improve your Kala's tone. You never know ... good luck with the tune.

Thanks Marco, Will perceiver with the the tone: will try your tip plus new/better strings and also been working on my finger nail lengths (currently they are very short).
