A broken chord is a chord broken down into single notes. When we play a chord progression (such as the one I was playing at the beginning of the video) with broken chords, you instantly achieve the lovely classical-like sound beautiful on the ukulele. The chord progression is made up of eight chords: C F Dm G Em Am F G. Each chord will be played like a broken chord.
