The melody is pretty simple and it works pretty good for beginners who wants to take it a step further and improve their fingerpicking technique and finger dexterity. You can use this melody as a warm-up or a right and left-hand exercise. It's a lovely classical motif that can also be transposed in many different keys. There are three things you should always follow when practicing this Ukulele melody. 1.Always pluck the strings with alternate fingering. In this video, we will use the index-middle fingerpicking pattern. 2.With the left hand, use all the fingers and don't press the frets with just one finger. 3.When you feel comfortable with the simple version, replace the first open string with the fretted note. Enjoy the lesson. 🎸UKULELE I AM USING: Makai LT80.

Is there a pdf for this one? It’s not showing up for me. Thanks. Absolutely beautiful music, you are so gifted with this.

Beautiful exercise, thank you 🙏. I am right handed, have short fingers and find holding the Ukulele at about 45 degrees to my body provides me with a greater reach with my LH thumb behind the fretboard, as well as less strain on my left hand. Also I put straps on my Ukuleles and find that this supports the neck so it doesn’t flop about when I’m not griping it with my left hand. My right lower arm holds the Ukulele body to my body. Would you consider covering aspects to do with holding the Ukulele, posture etc.. in a future tutorial? Your playing is so smooth and precise - wonderful 👍.
