Trust and believe that of the many things The Son of Poseidon was expecting when his boots landed upon Delverhold once again, it sure as hell wasn't gonna be a group of fairy mermaids. Neither did he imagine that he'd garner the intrigue of the oldest of the mythical creatures.

Having lived in a pond since their creation by the Alchemist of Delverhold, Nei and her sisters were vastly unaware of the world beyond their space. For years, they lived together, played together, and enjoyed the mystical waters together. Yet, nothing could have prepared the oldest for a wonderful sight of that she'd not seen before. A man, taller than any she'd seen before working his tender caresses on a woman of the same height. Intrigued, she watched the whole time before she heard them speak. Confused, though oddly aware of them, she answered back.

Never could the young fairmaid have known that her action would open a world of adventure for her and her sisters. When Eric held Nei in his hands, she stared at him and she trembled. His eyes were honed on her and her innate instincts swiftly took hold of her. For a time she knew not what to do under the gaze of this male creature that held her. Yet, she couldn't allow herself to show fear for her sisters watched on, more specifically Lei.

She knew not what he would do with her, yet she saw there was no ill-intent within him. When he asked her if she'd wish to join him, her thoughts stilled. For once, she wondered of the world beyond the pond that had been the home of her and her sisters. She wondered what more they might explore out there.

Her sisters trusting her judgement, she agreed. That said, her mind was in overdrive. She couldn't help teasing the man who captured her, quenching her thirst for knowledge. The more she studied, the more she got a glance at how he thought.

He took her and her sister far. He showed them dark dangers, and bright glories. So many colors, she'd never seen before. Yet, it was when she'd been dropped in another pool did she realize something else. When she looked at him, her body grew hot. Her chest grew tight and her wings fluttered. She desired him. She wished him to mate with her. She'd wish to follow him as his scent intoxicated her to no end.

She revealed her advances to him, playfully toying with him to show her interest. He'd not taken notice of it too many times, but her sisters did. When Lei kissed Nei, something in her brain was unleashed. It was the best thing she'd ever experienced, and she wished to experience it with him, the man she deemed her mate. His head was her home. Should any of her other sisters dare approach her spot, she wouldn't back down from showing them why she'd been the one leading them all the time.

Luckily, Lei understood her position. Lei always was the one to stick by Nei the most. Nei felt like she connected with Lei in ways that she hadn't with her other sisters. While there was pleasure to be had in their embrace, it wasn't the same with Lei.

It was only when Nei finally got her wish did she understand. Her mate, whether he knew it or not, wished for Lei as well, and Lei wished for him too. So, Nei allowed them their embrace... after hers, of course. And what an embrace it was, Nei couldn't resist bonding with the man who'd opened the world up for her just as he'd opened her up for himself. She'd follow him, swimming wherever he went, perhaps one day she'd produce the results of her mate and their bonding.

As for Lei, Nei always allowed her to join in. Lei was always welcome to enjoy the fruits of her mate, as it always seemed to excite Nei in ways the fairmaid wasn't sure she understood. Of course, she wouldn't mind as long as she got to go first. While Nei might not be first amongst her mate's other mates, she'd not lose her position to her sisters. Luckily, she wouldn't have to worry about that with Lei, for Lei loved them both dearly.

So, The Son of Poseidon gained two more lovers, and two more allies who would lay waste to his enemies, either with their feminine wiles or their powerfully ancient magic. So long as Nei and Lei breathed, their mate would rein amongst the others, and they would explore the seas of his domain to their hearts' content, studying and understanding the world which he'd opened for them.
