From what I've seen of PPG 2016, it is the ideal example of how NOT to reboot a franchise. It gets rid of the features that made the original series such a beloved classic, it tries way too hard to be hip and relevant to a modern audience, it copies the formula of Teen Titans GO, and it is an overall insult to PPG fans old and new alike. Reboots can work if done right-look at Ducktales 2017-but this seems to have been little more than a cash grab, and an awful one at that. What were they thinking with this reboot, and in particular, this episode?! Why did they have to make Buttercup all buffed up and flabby to the point where just looking at her can give some people nightmares? Also, having Buttercup take muscle supplements sends a bad message to children. It's no wonder viewers-and eventually, even Cartoon Network itself-turned their backs on this show, though it someone managed to air 119 episodes before it was finally put out of its misery in 2019. Someday soon, however, we'll have the live-action reboot coming our way...looking forward to it, I am not. It has been nearly eleven months since the last Weird Episode video, and this one continues to show why this series can be quite enjoyable. We have your WTF reactions to said episodes, which can be quite hilarious. We have the episodes themselves, which contain material that can creep some viewers out or make them wonder how they managed to get past the censors. This particular video shows what may very well be the nadir of the PPG franchise prior to the leaked script of the scrapped pilot of the live-action reboot, as Musclecup contains pretty much everything wrong with the franchise at that point, from the gross-out image of a flabby Buttercup to a villain who lacks the charm of Mojo Jojo, Him, and the rest of the classic villains. All the same, I'm glad that you were courageous enough to endure this episode so that the rest of us didn't have to...between this and Finding Jesus 2, you have proven to be one who is willing to deal with some of the worst animated cartoons in history, and I look forward to seeing what animated project and/or topic-good or bad-you plan on tackling next. "I hate this" We all hate this. The only thing good about the 2016 reboot was its theme song. Beautifully animated. I guess that's where the budget went lol

I preferred to see the old one better I saw a few episodes of the 2016 reboot it’s to me it’s totally awful , as ever one hated the anime power puff girls, with it’s different story line , sailor moon-esh art design it’s at least to me I watch that than this .
