Hurricane Fiona Update! (Patreon)

Hi Degrassi fans,

You may have seen me post around the web that I’ve been impacted by Hurricane Fiona! After five days, I finally received power. But — still no internet connection.

There will be a pause on The Degrassi Kid Podcast until I can upload again. And I’m not sure if I’ll be able to post on Patreon or fulfil rewards. Mail-out packages will be sent out on October 3rd, but there may be a delay as the post office reopens!

I want to say — your support on here means a LOT this month! Everyone on PEI and in Atlantic Canada is going through a really tough time. While I’ve received power - many islanders are still without, and are expected to be without for many more days.

We’ve been given no support to replace our groceries, no updates on power restorations and no government programs that will provide immediate support to Islanders. Luckily, our community has bound together to provide lots of resources, support and safe spaces. Without their kindness, we’d be lost.

Every donation via Patreon will be going directly into helping me and my family rebuild our lives and our property damage. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for still supporting me - even at a time where I can’t provide anything in return.

In happy news, you may have seen I’ve been working with LINDA SCHUYLER to help promote her book launch. When I can, I’ll be hoping on here to share more!

For now, all interviews I’ve scheduled have been cancelled/pushed back and there may be changes in the upcoming episodes! Either way, I can’t wait to just get on here and talk about Degrassi! 💕
