To my Patreon supporters: I'm pausing my Patreon income again, for the August billing cycle. None of you will be charged.

I wasn't planning this, I have been working this month and my next episode is on the verge of completion; I do this because Patreon is now likely in serious financial trouble.

Whether you're a fan of Mike Cernovich or not, check his website for the best detail on the recent Patreon case (he's a lawyer).

As I understand, Patreon now has 30 days to pay the arbitration fees its on the hook for, and I'm not saying that Patreon will do this, but it's conceivable to me that the company could have its assets frozen during the charging period in which it holds pledges before paying out to creators, and use that money to save itself or at least pay the fees.

Simply put, in that case, all your money goes to them to pay for their mistake and none of it to me, and taking that chance in the hope that I get my monthly payout, knowing that I could've paused my page, doesn't sit well with me.

It's a lot of money for me to forfeit, especially since I paused it last month too, but I have some other sources including YouTube and a small editing job, and I value my fans and their respect for me immensely.

This may come off as a stupid decision on my part, and maybe it is, but it makes me feel better. My creator account on Patreon will remain, as long as the company remains anyway, but I am now looking into alternative platforms for fans to support me through. If my fans insist on financially supporting me for this month, you're free to Paypal or Superchat me, it's up to you.

Either way I will release Arby 815 for early viewing exclusively to my subscribers very soon. I hope you're excited. As always, thank you all for your tremendous support and generosity!
