To clarify, all principal photography is done, and we're focusing solely on the VFX shots now. It's always a real sticking point with me to make the role of the tinies as believable as possible, which is why we've stuck to POV shoots and have avoided using mini figures/stand-ins in our work.

The biggest challenge with this film thus far has been making believable fairies. We first attempted hand-animating custom DAZ models, which became impossible after a while with our lack of animation experience. Next, we tried mocap, which is still a potential option though the tools we've opted to use have been less than wieldy. 

Now we're going the direct route and just hiring an actor to film on green screen. We're very fortunate to have been given access to a sound stage to shoot these scenes, seen in the pic below, and have been tirelessly calculating and planning the best means to get what we need here.

This shoot happens later today. Wish us luck, the whole movie really depends on this going well.
