Have you ever felt like quitting guitar, or maybe even giving up on life in general?

I've struggled with self esteem and depression since I was 13 years old. Being a sensitive person can facilitate your creativity... but can also leave you vulnerable to criticism from others. Negative feedback for something you worked hard on can make you wanna quit forever. Below are 3 ways to rekindle your passion and protect your self esteem

1. Gratitude

Even though it may seem like it, the universe isn't conspiring against you. Choosing to focus on the good things improves our mood. Meditate on the wins you've had today and forget about negative experiences. Think of something that excites you and look forward to your next practice session. For example, I've been writing short neoclassical cadences to improve my technique recently. It's a total blast. This is your time to blow off steam and have FUN!

2. F$ck The World

Trying to please everyone results in pleasing no one. Don't let others siphon precious energy and throw you off course. Put on blinders and FOCUS on your goals and what YOU want in life. The irony is, people tend to like you more when you care less about pleasing them

3. Discipline

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. The truth is, driven people always succeed. The secret is to just keep going. Make a decision to be consistent and stick to the plan, even when you don't feel like it

Attached below is the Guitar Pro and PDF file for my MUSIC THEORY FOR GUITARISTS course. This is the perfect way to practice your Gratitude, Focus and Discipline.
