Happy Monday! I know Monday isn't everyone's favorite day of the week. Getting back into the groove after a weekend off can be brutal. I just finished up a family reunion lasting 3 days with 150 people!

When you first handle your hardwood after time off, things can feel awkward. It's almost like you've never played before. Here's 3 tips to get back in the saddle after a hiatus

1. CONNECT WITH YOUR PASSION

Think of the music that first ignited your passion. Visualize yourself playing melodies with effortless precision. Fantasize about writing a massive riff that shakes the universe

2. BIG PP

No one likes a little pp....have a big PP or PRACTICE PLAN to get massive results in your playing. Select 4 topics of interest and spend 5 minutes on each one. With the right strategy, you can make considerable gains in a short period of time. Two practice plans are posted below. Choose one for your next 20 minute practice session

3. CELEBRATE

Throw a personal party every time you finish a practice session. Practice is the mechanism by which we progress towards our goals. Learn to congratulate yourself for every minute of focus on your instrument

⚡️ FASTER BY THE DAY PROGRAM

For those participating in FBTD, week two is coming this Wednesday! We're going to be expanding on the concepts in week one with more TITS (technique, improvising, theory and songs). Review week one and push the tempos for each bar as much as you can!
