How's your Neapolitan Chord Metal Riff coming along? I've gotten a few submissions so far, which I'll be posting for you guys to check out.

In the tab below, I've included two Neapolitan Chord Cadences. These are small phrases you can use to build riffs or licks with. They're like seeds of composition you can plant and grow into full songs.

Post your Neapolitan Metal Riff in the comments, or you can message it to me.

Neoclassical Metal Guitar Secret | Neapolitan Chord

Here's a Neoclassical Metal Guitar Secret....the Neapolitan Chord! It's one of the most dramatic chords you'll hear in classical music. The Neapolitan chord is built on the b2nd degree of the scale. In The key of E minor, the Neapolitan chord would be F major....usually in first inversion, like in Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata (D/F#). It's fun to use this chord in your metal guitar riffs as well. Learn more about this dramatic compositional device in my full music theory course below. I teach you how to make metal riffs with the chord, take you through examples in Mozart and Beethoven's music and much more! 🔴 Music Theory Course + Scale and Chord Bible + Classical Guitar Package (75% Off) https://shredmasterscott.gumroad.com/l/OOBlx/q486lmf?_gl=1*q7sszu*_ga*NTkzMTYxNDE0LjE2MjE0ODYzMTM.*_ga_6LJN6D94N6*MTY0NzExMTIxNi4xODkuMS4xNjQ3MTExMjI1LjA.
