Neoclassical Metal Guitar | Neapolitan Chord Cadences

In this video I demonstrate the Neapolitan chord with some metal riffs. In the key of D minor, the Neapolitan chord is Eb major. It's built a half step up from the root, Usually in first inversion. The tab gives you short musical cadences that can be used to develop riffs of your own. Beethoven, Bach and Mozart all used this extremely dramatic and cool sounding chord. It's perfect for Neoclassical Metal Guitar and you'll hear it in the work of guitar virtuosos like Michael Romeo of Symphony X.
