In this post you'll learn how to introduce and resolve all the important harmonic devices in Neoclassical music. Just like Randy Rhoads. Understanding these ideas will make your shredding very musical and not just a series of flashy tricks. When guys like Rick Graham play, you can really hear the passage of beautiful voice leading and chord progressions. That's what we want to strive for.

The video below contains:

Harmonic Minor Primary Chords

Secondary Diminished 7th Chords

Secondary Dominants

Cadential 6/4 Chord

The Neapolitan Chord

3 Types Of Augmented 6th Chords

This is truly fantastic. I know that Rhoads was planning to devote himself to classical guitar before his tragic death. Do you know of any Rhoads-ian acoustic or classical guitarists out there we would enjoy? I listen to a bit of Segovia now and then, but other than that, I don’t know that much about contemporary classical guitar.

Glad you got some value from it brother. I want to do more with this approach because I think it's extremely useful to make these ideas a part of your musical language. Check out Tariq Harab, Anna Vidovich or John Williams for some killer modern classical guitarists
