Neoclassical Harmony Etude (Patreon)

Here's a Neoclassical Etude to work on Harmony. Inspired by a Jason Becker/ Paganini approach, using single note lines to outline a chord progression. The idea is to create the illusion of harmonic movement even when you're just playing single notes. I play chords in this exercise too...but even when you're not, imagine the chords you want to outline. 

D harmonic minor is the key, with Dm-Gm and A as the primary chords. Keep your eyes open for  arpeggios, string skipping, altered dominants (A7b9) and thematic development
