Alternate Picking Power (Patreon)

In this exercise we target alternate picking. Kiko Loureiro from Megadeth has complete command of this technique. In the exercise below, I've tabbed out a 3 octave run in G# minor. This exercise will help you change between all six strings using a 3 note per string pattern. Extremely useful idea actually. Try taking any lick you have and playing it in 3 octaves like this. Amazing things happen...it tends to sound more pianistic
