Diabolical Diminished Etude (Patreon)

Here's a diminished chord arpeggio etude targeting modulation. 1 modulation is possible for each of the four notes in a Gdim7 chord, spelled, G-Bb-Db-Fb. The etude is inspired by John Petrucci, who is no stranger to diminished chords. By going up a half step from each of the chord tones, a resolved effect is achieved. Firstly, I modulated up a half step from the third of the chord, Bb, to Bm. Then, to Fm, up a half step from the 7th. Next to D minor, up a half step from Db. And the last modulation is to G#m, a half step up from the root, G. Hehehehe, the tab is below.
