June Bonus Comic - Fuzzy Artstyle Challenge (Patreon)

I've got an unusual bonus comic for you this month! 

Ever since I drew my recent "Bitey the Shark" story -- in which I made up a whole fake history for a fictional cartoon series -- I've been thinking a lot about the actual real history of Sam and Fuzzy. 

So, much like I did with Bitey, I thought it would be fun to revisit all the different versions of Fuzzy I've drawn over the last 27 years, and challenge myself to make new drawings in those old art styles! 

This particular comic has our first six Fuzzys! I've included a little context for each of them, so you'll know who they all are. (And also so I could work in some extra jokes.)

And after the comic, I've included a collage of reference images from the original appearances of these Fuzzys, so you can see how well I did (or didn't do) at matching the art styles.

I'm working on a second batch of Fuzzys now, covering the rest of his history. I'll share a preview of how that one is coming along in this month's S&F Extra!
