One popular folktale is called The Songstress and the Figurante. The story follows the lives of two pokemon leading very different lives- a singer, who spends a pampered life in splendor, and a dancer who barely scrapes by performing on the streets. By chance they swap lifestyles, as the dancer performs in grand concert halls and the singer gets to fall in love with a farmhand. The twist of the story is that they're actually the same pokemon, with the unique ability to change forms!
