Pokemon in the world of OBT have managed to hit very impressive strides with technology thanks to their unique abilities and with a little guidance from texts from an ancient civilization that has been translated and tweaked. Textile became a very popular industry once pokemon realized they could weave the effects of berries, evolutionary stones, etc. into clothing worn by explorers. Transportation like boats and trains proved to be essential for moving pokemon across continents quickly and efficiently, and general quality of life is increased thanks to the development of wells, the printing press, and rudimentary medicinal practices. Most recently is the development of electricity, though it has yet to become widespread so installations have only begun in bigger towns. Large-scale mass production has not yet been achieved, and as such some pokemon decide to pass on these developments to live in the wilds.
