Patrons,

This week I had the opportunity to see Ari Aster's Beau Is Afraid in theaters. It is one of the most baffling, upsetting, and intense theatrical experiences I've ever had. I think the movie might be a masterpiece. But I'm not sure if I'd recommend it to anyone?

In this Patreon bonus audio, I recorded my conversation with my friend Adam after the movie. We talk about what we think the movie is trying to say, what scenes were most memorable, and what we thought about the casting, the performances and the architecture. BE WARNED: THERE ARE SPOILERS IN THIS CONVERSATION.

As always, thanks so much for your support!
