This isn't usually what I cover but when @joyonapping wants to discuss something, I oblige: Our bubble devoured the first half of Love Is Blind Season 2 Part 1 on Netflix today. In this bonus audio, we discuss the pleasures of the show and break down what makes it so addictive. We also weigh in on whether we think any of these couples will survive. Massive spoilers for the show in this episode.

I hate the Shayne and Natalie couple so so much. Shayne is the worst person. He's so immature and his ego is so paper thin fragile. Literally the only reason he likes her is that she feeds him compliments and whenever she's sarcastic and doesn't do that he gets upset and blows up at her. And she still stays with him. It's baffling. What does she see in him? She seems to not know what is healthy for her in a relationship at all and it's so frustrating to watch. I agree with Carter that they're both extremely stubborn.

Ok ya got me hooked! I’m up through ep 5 and even if it is scripted I like the way the filming is rough in a way that makes it feel real and maybe a bit of a naughty invasion of privacy. I appreciate that the hosts don’t narrate over the couples interacting too.
