Dave, I’m surprised you’ve never seen the David Lynch version. (Which I’m assuming based on what you said in the reaction). I also got the impression that film Twitter implied that they have not even shot the sequel. Is that true? I haven’t read about the making, but my assumption was the footage for everything was shot.

I honestly think one day HBO will just make a series of Dune and that will finally be the definitive version.
